*Snort*
So there are alot of bummed people about the collapse of No Fate Con ... Despite my disagreement of some things, I was actually looking foward to going.
So I thought I would extract some humor and hope it makes some people smile (or you know ... not.)
Anyway I thought I would shake out this community and get it running again.
Sort of based on a Fanfic Idea I had this morning involving a reboot of the TSCC retcon of the T-Franchise married too "The Hobbit"
It's pretty cool and sort of hard to understand how it would work if you're not in my brain at the moment, but it'll be fun.

And now an excert from "John and Cameron Write a Porno"
In fact it was worth noting that the last man to have such a mustache of girth and fuzz was Adam Blakely, who strangely enough was college professor to Sarah Connor and her best friend Ginger Ventura. It should also be noted that when she was failing, Ginger invited her professor to their apartment one night, due to cold weather, car trouble … and a failing grade in his class. Ginger being a girl with a loose set of morals and legs seduced her professor and his mustache to Sarah’s room while the future mother of the resistance was at the library. What the red haired girl didn’t know was that the raven haired teen had left a thermal blanket warmer plugged in for her return. It was during a round of oral sex when there was an unfortunate short in the complex’s electrical … the result being a sudden spark from the blanket that started what one might call a “brush fire”, and thus concluding the reign of magnificence that was Adam Blakely’s mustache who met it’s doom in a fiery end that Robert Frost would be proud of. It is often overlooked that amongst all of Sarah Connor’s accomplishments in her later years it is little remembered that she was not only the mother of destiny, but the first to use the nickname “Fire Crotch.” In memoriam for her grandmother’s blanket and the only hair on her friend that she didn’t perm.

This is the post for recommending fan-made videos for SCC. Same rules apply from the fanfic post: self-reccing is allowed, compiling thematic recs, requests encouraged (because who knows what may have been made already that you haven't yet seen?).

I'm feeling bereft now that there's no more SCC to rewatch! Obviously I'll have to start all over again! ;-)
Anyway, thank you to everyone who contributed to the rewatch; your comments and posts made the rewatch experience richer.
In celebration of finishing the rewatch, consider this the epic fanfiction recs post. (I meant to do a post at the end of season one and halfway through season two but I forgot.) Put your favorite fics in the comments here. Or post a request for a particular kind of fic. Make categories of recs! Rec your own fics!
I'm going to make rec posts for other categories as well: fanvids, meta and picspam. Anything else I should do? (Fanfiction is first because, well, I like it the most.)
ON YOUR MARK, GET SET, GO FANFICTION LINKS!

(Disclosure: I cribbed lots of this from an epic post I made in my own journal about this episode once upon a time. I could only come up with so much new to say! This will be somewhat repetitive to anyone who's read that.)
( The overly long plot summary )
This episode brings an entire season of character and emotional arcs and plot threads that sometimes felt disparate together into something that’s satisfying, for me, on just about every level: plot, character, emotion, meta. It’s the culmination of several different emotional and narrative arcs, and it’s a fitting end (*spits on Fox*). Yet, in keeping with a universe about time travel and—in this incarnation, at least—the future as prologue, it’s also such a rich beginning for almost anything that could happen next. Almost all the characters are making game-changing moves and decisions. I have, er, a lot of lengthy meta about that. Here we go.
( Epic meta and picspam )
In conclusion, DAMN YOU, FOX. *spits*
Finally, many, manks thanks to
rose_griffes for organizing the rewatch and keeping it moving! Thanks, Rose! You're awesome.

So sorry this is late, and if you open this and go "Hey, where's your trousers images?" I don't blame you. My connection has been hellish and I haven't been able to upload any of my pictures. So sadly this is a completely image-less post. I'll try again, and edit them in tomorrow if I manage to upload :/
